It seems that as the New Year begins, all the major enterprises are ready with their brand new products and their related rumors. Well we have another rumor for the tech lovers out there. The Microsoft surface Pro is expected to be launched sometime this month. A bird whispered the date to be 26th January, 2013.
Microsoft is a huge name when it comes to computers and related items. Whether it is the operating systems or some random everyday programs or hardware/systems, Microsoft is perhaps the only leading enterprise. With technology improving on a day to day basis and companies trying to come up with better and more enhanced products which could now replace the laptops, Microsoft has designed a very innovative and comprehensive product; Surface Pro.
The Microsoft Surface Pro is a Microsoft’s tablet platform, a device similar to iPad just better – much better. The device is fully compatible with and runs all familiar operating systems making it easier for the common man to operate and use this very exciting product.

It comes with a stand which gives it ability to just be there as a normal display rather than the users watching a movie or working on the tablet facing down. The Surface Pro’s 10.6-inch (16:9) 1,920 x 1,080-pixel display makes it even more exciting and exotic.
The touch keypad inside its cover is just fabulous. The users also have the option to purchase a real key based keyboard which some people prefer. It is first of its kind to really replace a laptop. With USB ports including USB 3, it supports a huge range of devices and versatility that is simply lacking with almost all other tablets in the market.
As the rumor goes, the Surface Pro includes an Intel Core i5 processor and a battery life of some 7 hours and 19 minutes. That is really strikingly remarkable and if all of these specifications are really coming true then it will be one of a kind.
This rumor is not baseless like most others. In November, Microsoft reportedly said that “In January, Surface with Windows 8 Pro will be available in two versions and pricing will start at $899: 64GB standalone version at $899, 128GB standalone version at $999.”

As per an IT professional based in UK ‘I am already a fan of the Surface Pro without even seeing it once. In fact being an IT professional, I have looked forward to it really since long’. So hopefully this new product which will reportedly come with Windows 8 and will also be compatible with Windows 7 will be a new innovation and will hopefully give a much needed competition to all the other tablets in the market.
With the brand name Microsoft attached to this awesome new product, we have high hopes of Surface Pro being launched this month. This is news is perhaps the most awaited news of the month and surely excite all the IT experts and professionals.
