The Windows 8 was launched in the month of October last year that is 2012. The Operating System was launched by the Microsoft with many enhancements and updates in the features and functions of the older as well as new features for the ease and comfort of the users. The OS is responsible for running the device and performing the tasks at a much better speed. The Windows 8 is providing the users a new and improved user interface and also the ability to launch the applications and process the transactions with revised speed and efficiency.
There are however, users who do not feel comfortable with the changed setup of the new operating system. Beside the UI and the applications with improved launching speed, the users are provided with the other features as well like an improved interface to copy paste dialog box, new way to work with the task manager which has new features and options and even Charm bars and much more. The users need to go even deeper to get to the function options they required. Every feature and function is in the OS with changed placements. The system is not providing the embedded BluRay support but the users can fix this to enjoy their favorite shows in best quality format.
There are some freeware and shareware tools provided for the ease of the users which they can install in their systems and can enjoy the movies and videos of their choice. The devices are not delivered with the Blu-Ray supports. The users need to get the hardware that provides the compatibility with the said format. Once the Blu-Ray drive has been installed in the device, the users can get the software support. The users can avail the tools like Cyberlink’s PowerDVD, the VLC Media Player, Media Classic Player and even the Nero 12. The PowerDVD is a powerful player that provides support for the BluRay movie format. Users can purchase this software for $ 50 with full feature packed.
The other option is VLC Media Player which can be downloaded from the internet for free that is the users do not have to pay any price for getting the feature options. However, the VLC Media Player only supports the unencrypted Blu-Ray discs only that limits its use as compared to the PowerDVD. The Media Player Classics is another option but it is not as resourceful as the other two mentioned above. The users need to make some adjustments with the settings options of the player to make it workable in the desired way.
The Nero 12 is another option that the users can consider. It is quite rich with the features required to deal with the BluRay format. However, the users have to pay $ 99. This is a big amount to pay for the users even with a great deal of features and functions. The paid softwares are providing a great deal of options regarding features and functions. However, those who cannot afford this extra burden on their pockets can avail the freeware options.
