No matter how much Samsung introduces that oomph factor in its phones, there shall always be Motorola fans, like me (not that I have anything against Samsung but Motorola is just too cute to ignore). Lately we have had many rumours about Motorola’s X Phone. As mysterious and well hidden as it is, the tech geeks have gone crazy over the leaked photo and the rumours about the specs of the Phone X. What we’ve got of Google (non-Nexus) Motorola’s phone, which is said to be revealed in mid-May, is a blurred image illustrating its form factor, which happens to be extremely square-ish.
Turns out the leak regarding Motorola’s Phone X have stumped the hype surrounding Samsung’s Android phones and perhaps, Google may try it again. Well, you may say it is a wild coincidence since Motorola’s X Phone made an appearance, with specs, features and image, when Galaxy S4 got official. Is Google actually making a move against Samsung? Well, we can’t know for sure is Google’s marketing team is actually targeting Samsung with such leaks, but one thing we can do right now is to check out today’s leaks! Here is a list of specs that were sent in by an anonymous tipster today, let’s hope that these rumours are true.
Motorola’s Phone X supports a 4.7 inches Full-HD display, a 16 megapixels rear camera and a 5 megapixels front facing camera which is also a light sensor with eye-scrolling features and running on a powerful NVIDIA Tegra 4i processor. It also has a height of 131.2 mm, width of 66.7 mm and a thickness of 7.9 mm. What is interesting to note here is that the device does not feature a 5 inches display screen, which is common for 2013 devices to have, but it features a 4.7 inches screen display. Moreover, Motorola knows how to spice things up, be in the market and yet be alluringly unique; Phone X is the first handset to sport a Tegra 4i SoC processor. Also, those shockingly awesome cameras are something to check out! Motorola might even be introducing its own eye tracking technology. What else do you want smartphone aficionados?
Unlike its DROID counterparts the image does not feature a bezel less handset and it is even slim than the former. Furthermore, we don’t know anything about the OS yet, though previously, we came to know that the X Phone will run a vanilla version of Android and those rumours also say it will come with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie out of the box.
At this point we have loads of questions roaming in our minds that can only be answered with (if we’re lucky) further leaks or, till the launch of the famous Phone X. Plus, these rumours are yet not confirmed so we’ll have to wait till further news to see what’s in store for us. One thing we’ll also like to see is the effect of such leaks on Samsung’s S4 popularity. Till then give us your input on which phone would like to buy?
