Learn To Customize The Color And Text Of The Firefox Menu Button

There are many web browsers available in the world of internet. The users nee a web browser to work with the activities on the internet. These browsers include the Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome and many others. Mozilla Firefox is one of the browsers which allows the users to set the browser appearances as well as controls according to the requirements and needs of the users. The users can deal with the extensions, add-ons, themes and other tools appearing on the web browser.

The developers of the browsers have even given the facility to alter the FireFox Menu button text. They can edit it and make it show whatever they want to. To do this practice, the users need to get the file editor titled as the ChromEdit Plus. You have to Add it to Firefox when running the application. Then go for the Allow option when the pop up window shows this message. After this, give it some time to get installed properly on the Firefox platform and appear on the interface of the MF.

After the installation is complete, shut the Firefox browser and restart it so that the setting are embedded properly. On opening the browser again, the users can see the icon appearing next to the address bar. If this is not coming on the address bar, then do it manually.

Go to the Options menu and then move to Toolbar Layout. From here, add the ChromeEdit Plus icon by dragging it to the bar.

Another way to perform the same task is by right clicking in the window and then go to the Customize option and from here brings the icon to the toolbar by dragging it.

After getting the application, open it. There will be 3 tabs on the ChromeEdit Plus. One tab is titled as the userChrome.css and it is empty. The users have to copy the following code in that tab.

After this, save the changes made in tab and then reopen the tool.

Change Of Text And Color In Firefox Button

To change the text on the Firefox button and make it appear according to your desire, simply make changes in the following code at the place of the Firefox.

The color of the text can be changed as well. All you have to do is to make changes in the #FFFFFF code which is the code of the white color. Then save the changes and restart it so that it can work properly.
