A few weeks back, we introduced a new application here at GeekChunk for the keeping all the passwords secure. Yes, we are talking about the awesome and perhaps the most useful application developed till date, the 1Password.
Since its release ,there has not been any significant update in this app. Of course this app was not entirely bug free or without any issues and as nothing is perfect; it required a few hinges here and there. Its initial features and usefulness has been covered in detail in my last article. This one will be covering the improvements and the updated aspects of the application.
For one the sync option has been upgraded and the USB sync utility has been added. There have been a few changes in the security and it has been made more secure. The syncing for the iCloud support on iOS has been made more secure with Apple simplicity while the version for Mac users is to be launched soon enough. Drop box support for cross-platform syncing including 1Password for Mac, Windows, and Android has also been upgraded in this amazing new application.

A master password option has been improvised and the Quick Unlock Code settings have been made even more secured. The display settings have added font options and colors to make the app look much more interactive.
This amazing application which is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, has now improvised its vault mode and a simple tap will show the menus. Now the users will not need to tap and hold on rows to view the menu.

The search has been improved and made even much easier and convenient for the users. The search bar is now permanently showing and the users do not have to go search for the search bar. AgilesBits, the owners of this amazing new application, have also removed and improvised some of the errors faced in the Web Mode and added an option to copy the current URL.

1Password supports a lot of languages including English, Bokmål, Norwegian, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish with Czech, Danish, Hebrew and Polish included in the updated version.
As explained in our previous article, the amazing 1Password application is a software which helps the users to generate strong, unique passwords for every site and also keep that password saved. This astounding and remarkable software keeps all the important information at the fingertips of the users.
This is perhaps one those few applications which have been accepted worldwide with open arms and have also received various awards like Apps for Getting Things Done, 20 Best Apps, Winner of the First Annual App Awards in Best Secret Keeping App category and TUAW Best of 2012 Awards. This app can be downloaded from the App Store at the price of $7.99. We hope the next updated version will also include compatibility with android.
