After releasing iOS 6.1 just a week ago, Apple just released the first beta of iOS 6.1.1, build number 10B311 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. This is the very first beta of iOS 6.1.1 with major improvements in Maps for Japan. This update does not contain any security update, so all the guys who jailbroken their idevices with the recently released Evasion or Sn0wbreeze 2.9.8 are completely safe to update to this version, but don’t miss the information below.

Apart from the official announcement, jailbreak lovers should also notice the timings of this release, which is just a day after the untethered jailbreak tool, Evasion. So it is quite possible that Apple may include some security updates and make your jailbroken device back to the default state.

So we would advise you to stay away from this update if you don’t want to to put your iPhone into default state.

iOS 6.1.1 Details

Apart from the fact that Apple want to make its operating system perfect for users even from outside of USA, this update also shows the interest of Apple to grab maximum users of its devices specifically in Asia because according to the earning report of last year released in December 2012, Apple enjoyed 67% and 25% rise in its income from China and Japan respectively. It seems that after conquering the major area of the globe, Apple is concentrating on Asia as well, Where Nokia still seems preferable.
